Give As You Earn is an efficient and easy way for staffto donate to their favourite charity. The Northern Ireland Civil Service has had a GAYE scheme in place since 1987 and thousands of staff have donated to a wide range of charities since then. There is no doubt that using StC Payroll Giving has increased the number of donors and we are delighted the organisation is promoting the NICS scheme.

Mary O’Kane (HR Policy Branch) Northern Ireland Civil Service

Payroll giving allows our colleagues to easily and tax efficiently support charities that matter to them and their families. As a business we support some wonderful large charities like Cancer Research UK but payroll giving allows an individual to support the charity close to their heart.

Our partners StC Payroll Giving make it easy for us to help charities raise more money.

Duncan Gray Compass Head of Corporate Responsibility

We’re delighted that M&S have been awarded the Silver Payroll Giving Quality Mark by the Charities Aid Foundation. This is in recognition of the achievement and commitment of M&S to support charitable causes through Payroll Giving. This is a great example of the teamwork between our Plan A, Reward and Employee Engagement teams, alongside StC to promote the scheme to our employees who wish to make tax free contributions to charities of their choice directly via their payroll. The Payroll Giving scheme is a great complement to our ‘Spark Something Good’ volunteering campaign, which enables all employees to spend a day each year out of the office take part in team events for charitable causes.

Joanna Thompson-Reward Analyst

“At Asda we support and champion some incredible charity partnerships such as Tickled Pink, Payroll giving allows our colleagues to voluntarily and tax efficiently support our chosen charities, but also enables them to support the causes that matter to them. Our partners StC Payroll Giving make it simple for us to helpcharities raise vital funding.”

Emma Gittoes, National Community Manager

“Balcas is committed to supporting our local community as well as local and international charities, so of course we are very proud of our staff and the long standing commitment they have shown to worthwhile causes at home and abroad through our Payroll Giving scheme promoted by StC Payroll Giving.”

Brenda McStravick, HR Manager

'StC Payroll Giving visited our staff to promote our charity of the year through payroll giving, they covered our various shift patterns and we were very impressed at the relaxed unobtrusive way they approached our staff and feedback from our staff was positive'
